Conlan, accompanied by Mr C. Mafchant, are visiting relatives at Hastings. Mr and Mrs L. Burling are away on vacafion in the Wellington district. Mr M. Funnell is on a motor tour of the north. ' ' The milk supply at the factory is now increasing, the number of cheese manufactured having increased from 8 to 10 over the past few days. The factory is still running only every second day, the staff being kept busy during off days overhauling the plant and machinery. Rain fell at Oroua Downs all day* Monday, there being a steady fall contmuousiv until late in the afternoon when the weather cleared.
