MINISTER OF EDUCATION.

Per Press Association. BLENHEIM. July 18. Hon. S. G. Smith, Minister of Education, arrived at Blenheim via Nelson this morning. He received a deputation from the Marlborough College Board of Governors who made a request for a new building to replace the present collection of wooden sti natures. The Minister was sympathetic. This afternoon the Minister lett for Kaikoura, visiting schools en route. He returns here to-morrow.
