FINE AND MILD. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 17. An anti-cyclone, with its centre to the north, extends over most of the Dominion, while a depression covers the south Tasman Sea, but is apparently losing intensity. Forecast: Moderate, but freshening, north-west winds. "Weather; Fine and mild. Seas moderate. MANAWATU RIVER GAUGE. Noon 3ft. 3ins.
