GRANT BY CABINET.

TECHNICAL SCHOOL ACCOMMODATION. Owing to the increased numbers of pupils attending the Palmerston North Technical School, with resultant overcrowding, application was recently made for the provision of additional accommodation at the school.

Mr J. A. Nash, M.P., chairman of the Technical School Committee, lias now received the following telegram from the Minister of Education (Hon. S. G. Smith): —“I am pleased to inform you that Cabinet lias approved of a grant for additional accommodation at the Technical School.” Fuller details of the grant are expected shortly.
