GROWING MEMBERSHIP.
THE A. AND P. ASSOCIATION. “With the inclusion of 66 new members and four life members elected today, the total membership is 1580,” reported the organising-seeretary (Mr H. E. Kissling) to the general committee of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association to-day. “This represents, after counting resignations, a net improvement, since December 11 last, of 149. The cash received to date this’ year is £ll9O 10s, which is an increase of £3O 5s over the figure for the whole of last year. Only £9B remains to be collected for the current year. The total number of new members elected since June 1, 1934, is 291. 1 believe that our membership roll can soon be increased to the 2000 mark and over if the present co-operation and assistance of committeemen is cohtinued. Recent canvassing trips have convinced me that there is a big field of new members not yet touched.”
