EYHDENCE AT INQUEST. Received July 16, 8.5 a.m. SYDNEY, July 16. At the Coroner’s inquiry into the death of John Morris Breen, aged 23, assistant purser on the Aorangi, who was found dead on May 19, a verdict was returned of suicide. Brian Hurley, second purser gave evidence that Breen had been ‘ slightly theatrical.” He had received a letter from a friend of Breen, which he handed to tlie police, and then to the Coroner, who suppressed tlie contents. ley added that Breen had attended the undergraduates’ ball tho night before his death.
