HALF⅝HOLIDAY QUESTION.
ATTITUDE AT AIARTON

MARTON, June 25. The move for a universal half-holi-day in the Dominion was summarily rejected at a very largely attended meeting of the business interests of Alarton and the following resolution was carried unanimously : “That this fully representative meeting emphatically protests against any interference with the existing right of each district to select the half-holiday best suited to local conditions.”
