RONGOTEA.
{From Oui' Own Correspondent.) RONGOTEA. June 21. there was a large gathering at the Masonic Hall for the purpose of welcoming Mr and Mrs Mackintosh, who were recently married at Norsewood, and are now making their home at ltongotea. Ihe time was spent in dancing, games, songs, recitations, etc., Mr J. Smith rendered vocal items. Friends from Dannevirko also assisted. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr and Mrs E. A. Croad. Supper followed, and then Mr H. J. Kirkham called on the guests to open the parcels which had been contributed by numerous friends. Many useful articles were revealed and Mr Mackintosh expressed sincere thanks to all for their kindness. The gathering closed with the singing of “Auld Lang Syne” and wishes for Mr and Mrs Mackintosh's happiness and prosperity in. their new home. 1 MOTHER PRIDE. HEALTHY, HAPPY CHILDREN HER JOY IN LIFE.
