Received June 4, 10.45 a.m. RUGBY, June 3. The Ministry of Labour estimates that at May 20 there were approximately 10,334,000 insured persons aged from 16 to 64 in employment in Britain. This was 14,000 more than at April 15, 1935, and 141,000 more than at May 14, 1934. At the same date the numbers of unemployed persons on registers in Britain totalled 2,044,752, comprising 1,630,572 men, 65,120 boys, 293,662 women, and 55,398 girls. The total was 292 more than at April 15, but 45,629 less than a year before. Tho number of hoys and girls on registers increased by 10,300 during tho period under review, due to tho registration of juveniles who left school at Easter.
