POLICE PURSUE INQUIRIES. GREYMOUTH, June 3. Although a long time has elapsed since the Blackball chocolate poisoning tragedy, the police have continutheir inquiries. Last September a girl Margaret Naismith, ate some chocolate from a box that had been posted to two other girls in Blackball and she died 60on afterwards. The police were baffled at first, as the only writing apart from the address on the postal packet was the word “Jim” on a slip of paper. However, the police have proceeded with their investigations, and developments are expected.
