SAGACIOUS DOG.

BRINGS HELP TO INJURED BOY. The cagacity of a sheepdog saved the life of Ronald Woolley, aged 12, of Mudgeo, New South Wales, who was struck by a falling log and seriously injured on a lonely mountain two miles from his home during a recent weekend.

The dog remained beside the boy for several hours, and then set out to bring help. It met a picnic party, members of which were attracted bv its barking and excited behaviour. They decided to follow the dog, which led them to the injured boy. A stretcher was made from saplings and coats, and the boy was taken to hospital.
