AMERICA’S VETERANS.

MARCH ON CAPITOL PLANNED. * Following the failure of the Patman Soldiers’ Bonus Bill, plans are being made lor Great War veterans to march on Washington, starting from California and picking up contingents on the way. It is estimated that 8000 will set out from California., They will be led by Royal Robertson, who headed the “death march” around the Capitol in 1932 while a bonus bill was being considered by tlie Senate. It was after that march that fatal rioting occurred.

The bonus forces in Congress plan to submit several alternative bills immediately. and to urge the President to pav tlie bonus out of the 5,000,000,000 dollar works relief vote.
