(From Our Own Correspondent.) MIL SON, May 2. ’flic Table Tennis Club played a match against Kelvin Grove on Tuesday evening in tlie local ball, this being the first mutch in tho competitions. The ladies of the club entertained the visitors to supper at the conclusion of the match. \ young girl, Mavis Gumming, of Alontreal' Street, liad the misfortune to faff while attending a function in the hall recently and it was Inter found on an X-ray examination that one of her fingers had been fractured. The accident was doubly unfortunate ns her mother is just recovering f r om tho effects of a broken arm sustainod in a similar manner. Mr Neil Brown, of Durham Road, inglowood was a recent visitor 1o Alilson; he is on a’motor tour to the Napicr-Taupo district.
