The ladies of the club entertained the visitors to supper at the conclusion of the match. \ young girl, Mavis Gumming, of Alontreal' Street, liad the misfortune to faff while attending a function in the hall recently and it was Inter found on an X-ray examination that one of her fingers had been fractured. The accident was doubly unfortunate ns her mother is just recovering f r om tho effects of a broken arm sustainod in a similar manner. Mr Neil Brown, of Durham Road, inglowood was a recent visitor 1o Alilson; he is on a’motor tour to the Napicr-Taupo district.
