PRESIDENTIAL APPOINTMENT. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 23. Although it is freely stated in Wellington and other centres that Mr Justice Johnston, of Christchurch, will he appointed President of the Court of Review to deal with mortgagors’ liabilities under the Rural Mortgagors’ Final Adjustment Act, the acting-Prime Minister (Hon. E. A. Ransom) said to-day in reply to an inquiry that the question had not yet been finalised, and that ail announcement would not be made for some time.
