LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.

A BRIEF SITTING. The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m when it received the Mortgage Corporation Bill, which it rend the .second time pro forma and referred to the Statutes Revision Committee. The Labour Bills Committee recommended that, in view of the advanced stave of the session, further consideration of the Workers Compensation Amendment (No. 2) Bill should be deferred till next session. The Council rose at 2.30.
