DELAYS EN ROUTE. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received March 14, 10.5 a.in. LONDON, March 13. The weather at Malta lias further delayed the Australian air mail, which will be delivered to-morrow, three days late. The mail which left Croydon on March 9 left Brindisi to-day after awaiting the flying-boat from Alexandria. It will be four days late at Alexandria because of flying via Malta. THE RECENT CONFERENCE. ENCOURAGING REFERENCE. (British Official Wireless.) Received March 14, 11.37 a.ni. RUGBY, March 13. The Under-Secretary for Air (Sir Philip Sassoon) said in Parliament that while lie was at present unable to make a statement regarding tlie recent conferences in Australia on the Government’s air mail policy, a telegram received about the proceedings was generally encouraging. He stated that 29.000,000 passenger miles were flown last year in the regular United Kingdom air transport services in Britain and abroad.
