SCANDINAVIA.
BUYING SOUTH AUSTRALIAN FRUIT. The South Australian Trade Commissioner (Air C. F. G. AleCann) has accepted, on behalf of the Premier (Air 11. L. Butler) and himself the Scandinavian Co-operative AVholesale Society’s invitation to visit Stockholm on April 25, on the occasion of the discharging by the Port Adelaide of 30,000 cases of South Australian fruit. The society has bought 200,000 eases of South Australian fruit in the past two years, and is anxious to discuss with Mr Butler the development of the Scandinavian market for other produce, including wines, also the possibilities of reciprocal trade with South Australia. Ah- Butler during his visit wi’l investigate Scandinavian and Baltic agricultural methods and marketing conditions.
