GREETINGS FROM SCOUTS. UNIQUE INDIAN PLAN. ARDUOUS RELAY UNDERTAKING. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received March 11, 9.45 a.m. CALCUTTA, March 10. Fifty thousand Boy Scouts in the Punjab province are planning a unique celebration of the King’s Silver Jubilee. The Scouts will assemble at their respective headquarters and 1000 picked youths front the five provincial divisions will carry loyal greetings in mile relays to Lahore from the most remote areas.

The most arduous trek will be from Kylang, in Ladakh, where the runners will have to cross the snow-covered Himalayan passes. Others will have to swim the mighty Indus and traverse the arid sand desert. The messages will be handed to the Governor, Sir Herbert Emerson, the Chief Provincial Scout, who will send them to the King by air mail.

The London County Council will give a reception in honour of the King s Silver Jubilee on the evening of May 31 at the Countv Hall. Westminster. The reception will be attended by the King and Queen.
