BATTLE OF MUKDEN.

ANN I AYERS ARY CELEBRATED. Received March -11. 10.50 a.m. TOKIO, March 10. The Emperor, eight princes, and the entire Cabinet, with five octogenarian generals and fifty other generals—survivors of the Russo-Japanese war—participated in impressive ceremonies on the thirtieth anniversary of the Battle of Mukden, which gave the Empire victory against the Tsarists A score of stations broadcast spirited patriotic addresses. Military bands and ox-soldiers paraded and the army, navy, and air forces co-operated in special manoeuvres.

The Battle of Mukden was fought between February 20 and March 10, 1905, during the Russo-Japanese AVar, and was a., signal victory for the Japanese.
