BAND VISITS KIWITEA.

| Under the charge of Lieutenant | Pike, conductor, the Feilding Municipal Band on Friday night paid a visit

to the residence of Mr W. F. Jacob, Kiwitea, a staunch supporter of the band. A programme of appropriate music was played, the good form and excellent renderings of the band being appreciated by all present. Later, the members of the band were entertained at supper by Mr and Mrs Jacob, speeches being made by Messrs Jacob, Haybittle, and Pike. Thanks were extended to Messrs CS. Jeffs, 0. C. Sporle, C. H. Pike and G. and H. Wilkinson for the use of their cars for the conveyance of the band to Kiwitea. )
