EGMONT WINTER MEETING.
PROPOSED CHANGE OF DATES.
HAWERA, March 9
An application has been made to the Racing Conference by the Egmont Racing Club for May 4 and 6, instead of May 9 and 11, as the dates for its winter meetmft is practicallv certain that the request will be granted. May 6 is a public holiday, marking tho silver jubilee of the King’c Coronation. An ambitious programme has been framed by the club, the stake-money offered being the largest given for many years.
