MADAME lIANAU ARRESTED. Following the dismissal of her appeal against a sentence of three years’ imprisonment for swindling investors, police arrested Madame Hanau, the French woman financier, as she was stepping into a motor car outside her house, says a Paris report. Madame Hanau drew a revolver and pointed it at her temple, but the police snatched the weapon away before it could be fired.
