PUTTING THE VISION INTO TELEVISION. —Remarkable advances made in recent months with high - definition television reception were demonstrated recently in an office in London, the programme being radiated from high - power radio transmitters on the south tower of the Crystal Palace, London. Exhibited on a screen only 12in by 9in, spectators could see riders jumping on the grounds of the Crystal Palace, a boxing match, excerpts from talking films, etc.—all Within 30 seconds of the actual happenings 10 miles away.
