MOTOR FATALITY.

VERDICT AT INQUEST. Per Press Association. WAIROA, March 5. The inquest on the victims of the car smash on January 5 was concluded yesterday after a lengthy hearing. The Coroner (Mr V. E. Winter) returned a verdict that Walter, Tangi, and Caroline Watson met their deaths as the result of injuries received through a car collision on the Napier R Tbe ovidence went to show, added Mr Winter, that the driver of tho car, James Watson, was responsible for the collision and for the deaths of the three victims. The. driver, who sur-fere-d a bad fracture of the arm, is still a patient in tho Gisborne Hospital.
