FEILDING EWE FAIR.

A BRIGHT MARKET. About 34,000 ewes, ranging from 2-th. to aged sorts, came forward at the annual ewe fair at Feilding to-day and from the start the market was bright. Good young ewes made up to 33s 6d, while best sorts of aged breeding ewes in good condition 1-ealis-ed up to 225. Most of the offerings were in fair condition, hut many lines were backward and poor. The best sales up tG 1 o’clock were as follow : 2-th. ewes 24s 6d, 2os 2d, 26s 3d, 29s 9d, 31s, 32s 9d to 33s 6d; 4-yr. ewes, 19s 8d to 21s; 4 and 5-yr. ewes, 15s lid, 16s, 19s Id to 23s ; 5-yr. ewes, 16s 6d ISs, 19s 7d, 20s Id t,o 20s 4d.
