NEW ZEALAND PLAYERS. MRS CALDOW UNBEATEN. Received January 25, 8.5 a.m. MELBOURNE, Jan. 25. The croquet championships were continued yesterday. The New Zealanders’ matches resulted as follows: Mr C. J. Miller (Victorian champion) heat Mr Stratton (New Zealand). airs Terry and Mr J. C. Windsor (Victoria) beat Mrs Caidow and Captain E. Hartnell (New Zealand). Mr Du Pre (the English champion) beat Mrs Corbett (New Zealand). The New Zealand champion, Captain Hartnell, has not yet shown his true skill. Mr Stratton_ is playing better than on his last visit five years ago. The New Zealand woman champion, Mrs Caidow, remains undefeated in the singles.
