WINE BY TANKER.
TROUBLE AT ALGIEBS. (Times Cables.) LONDON, Jan. 16. The Algiers correspondent of the Times says that in order to reduce transport charges the tank steamer Bacchus arrived to load wine for Rouen. Labourers, dockers, and coopers protested because this dispenses with barrels and renders idle many persons. Dockers, armed with sticks and stones, injured the police when the former attempted to prevent loading.
