MEXICAN OIL FIELDS
REPORTED OFFER TO JAPAN. Press reports that Mexico has offered Japan a concession of extensive oil fields are likely to strengthen Japan’s hand in dealing with American and British petrol interests regarding the control laws in Japan and Manchukuo. However, the Government will act cautiously in view of American susceptibility about Mexico.
