TEACHERS’ SCHOOL

AT NEW PLYMOUTH. Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Jan. 13. A hundred primary, secondary and technical school teachers, from ail parts or' New Zealand have arrived at New Plymouth for the annual summer school, which opens to-morrow, when 50 more are expected. It is only five years since the last gathering of the kind was held at New Plymouth. Prominent among the lecturers will be Mr Frank Milner, rector of the AYaitaki Boys’ High School; Dr. J. B. Gondliffe, ol the Secretariat of the League of Nations; Dr. A. G. Butchers, of AYellingtori; Professor Sewell, of Auckland; and Air Al. Jenner, of Christchurch. The school will be officially opened to-night in the presence of the Alinistor of Education (Hon. S. G. Smith), and the Director of Education (Air N. I’. Lambournc). The school wiil last ten days.
