COMPETITION SUSTAINED. LATE RATES MAINTAINED. NEW ZEALAND PRICES. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received December 1, 11.50 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 30. At the wool sales 10,405 bales were offered, including 3910 from New Zealand ; 8874 Australian and New Zealand were sold. Home and Continental competition was sustained and late rates were fully maintained. New Zealand greasy crossbred, branded “EM Teruanui,” sold at 10fd; halfbred lamb slipe wool, “WFM/TBS,” made the top price of and an average of lOJct. SOUTH AFRICAN WOOL. GERMAN PURCHASES FINANCED. Received December 1, 11.50 a.m. CAPETOWN, Nov. 30. As the result of negotiations between the Governments of Germany and South Africa, a scheme, providing for the financing of the purchase of South African wool by German wool buyers lias been adopted.
