FOR EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS. MELBOURNE, Nov. 30. Prelates of many nations have as"sembled in Melbourne for 'the opening of the Eucharistic Congress in St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Sunday, wnen his Eminence, Cardinal Macßory, Archbishop of Armagh, will celebrate Pontifical High Mass in the presence of more than 50 archbishops and bishops. The service promises to be the most spectacular ever held in Melbourne. Arrangements are being made for a congregation of about 25,000 people. The norma] seating of the cathedral is 3000, but extra accommodation has been provided and 20.000 worshippers will bo able to hear the service from cathedral grounds, where amplifiers have been installed. Many events in connection with the congress have been arranged for next week, including the centra] feature of the congress, the Eucharistic procession on Sunday.
