NEW BRANCH AT BLENHEIM. Messrs J. R. McKenzie, Ltd., liave acquired premises in Blenheim and in the near future will be commencing operations in that town. This addition to the McKenzie chain of departmental stores has been made possible by the support which has been accorded them and by the confidence reposed in their selling methods by the public of New Zealand. It is the firm’s intention to open one of their modern type department stores suitable for the requirements of the Blenheim district. J. R. McKenzie, Ltd., is an entirely New Zealand firm, at present owning and operating 18 stores throughout New Zealand, giving employment to over 500 New Zealanders.
