KISCH IN COURT.
FORMULATION OF CHARGE. SYDNEY, Nov. 23. When the case was before the Central Court to-day the Crown sought to alter the charge against Herr Egon Kisch of being a prohibited immigrant to “having failed to pass the dictation test required by the Immigration Act.”' Mr Piddington, K.C., for Kisch, strenuously objected to the alteration of the charge and also questioned the use of Gaelic, which was the test applied. Air Piddington argued that the point the Court would have to decide was whether Gaelic is a living European language. Argument was not concluded when the hearing was adjourned till Alonday.
