OCEAN MONSTER.

DISCOVERY OFF CANADA. PRINCE RUPERT (British Columbia), Nov. 22. The dissected remains of a marine monster, 30 feet long, resembling the sea serpent previously reported to have been seen in British Columbia waters, were brought here from near Porcher Island, south of Prince Rupert, by Dr. Neal Carter, director of the Prince Rupert Dominion Fisheries experimental station. The body is decomposed and it is impossible to preserve it intact. Its red flesh indicated a warm-blooded marine mammal. The head is shaped somewhat like a horse’s, and it had a tough, rough skin. The upper, part of the skin had hair, and the lower part quills like spines. There were no bones of importance except the vertebrae. The body will be reconstructed as far as possible.
