TRAFFIC OVERWAYS.

PROPOSAL FOR LONDON. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Nov. 21. An ambitious proposal to erect traffic overways above existing railways to link central London with the new arterial roads forms the subject of an amendment to the Address to the Throne which a group of members hope to have debated in the House of Commons.

They consider such a scheme would reduce road fatalities and congestion. The overways would be constructed of steel columns and the scheme is estimated to cost £3,000,000.
