Best light lambs are gd lower and others show no change; wethers, no change; ewes under 641 b, lower. Chilled beef, hinds 4jd, fores 3jd; market quiet. Do not look for any change in the near future. Supplies are ample. The foregoing cable advice was received by M. A. Eliott, Ltd., to-day from Gordon, Woodroffe and Co., Ltd., London. The following are Smithfield prices for the week ending November 22, 1934 (these are on the “delivered” basis, that is, including storage charges, cartage, etc.) : Best North Island prime lambs, under 36 6Jd, 36-42 6|d, 42-50 s£d; ordinary North Island lambs, under 42, 6fd; second quality, under 42 6d; best North Island wethers and/or maiden ewes, 48-56, 56-64 4jd, 64-72, over 72 4id; ordinary North Island wethers and/or maiden ewes, 48-56, 56-64 4£d, 64-72, over 72 North Island ewes, under 64 3jjd', 64-72, over 72 3d; New Zealand prime ox beef (equal fores and hinds), 160-220 2?d. Cheese: New Zealand, white and coloured, 50s. Joseph Nathan and Coy., Ltd., have received from London the following cabled advice, dated November 21 -. New Zealand butter, .finest, 755; first, 735. Quiet. - New Zealand cheese, 49s to 50s. Quiet. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Coy., Ltd., have received the following advice, from their London house, dated November 21' (last week’s quotations in parentheses) Dairy produce: Butter, New Zealand choicest salted, 75s to 76s per cwt. (75s to 775); market slow. Cheese, white, 50s per cwt. (535); coloured, 49s per cwt. (525); market quiet. CHICAGO WHEAT FUTURES, NEW YORK, Nov. 21.
