INAUGURATION OF SERVICE

CANBERRA, Nov. 21

Mr R. A. Parkhill (Minister of Defence) said that unless there is adverse comment against the De Havilland 86 aeroplanes by the committee investigating the Longreach air disaster, the overseas air mail service will begin from Brisbane to England on the original contract date, December 10, and there will be no need to use any other type of aeroplane.
