AUSTRALIAN WOOL SALES. IN SELLERS’ FAVOUR. STRONG COMPETITION. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received November 22, 10.30 a.m. BRISBANE, Nov. 22. There was strong general competition at the wool sales and prices were firm, with best fleece wools tending in sellers’ favour. Greasy sorts realised up to 16Jd and scoured 24d. At the Melbourne sales prices were firm with strong general competition. Top prices were: Merino 15Jd ; comeback and crossbred, 15Jd.

Received November 22 9-50 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 21. The wool sales were postponed owing to the fog to-day.
