WEDNESDAY CRICKET.

KELLI)ING DEFEAT KIWI. Tiiere was an exciting finish to tlie match at Kowhai Park, vesterdav afternoon, between Feilding and Kiwi A, the local men getting the last of the opposing side out just on time to win by nearly 80 runs. The home men were the superiors with the hat, Bramwell again scoring a century and retiring at 107, while Dunn also returned unbeaten to the pavilion at G2. These two had given the field and the

bowlers a merry time, but following their withdrawal the innings closed at 267 with one man absent. Kiwi started out well against the attack, both Bramwell and Devine being scored off freely. Attwood and Gallichau got into form, but following their dismissal Dunn made short work of the rest, although Stewart compiled a handy 22. The side was still intact when the last over was started, and a draw could probably have been made of it had not Carroll and Hook essayed a short and needless run, the latter being caught short of the crease by a smart return.
