(From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, Nov, 19. Extremely hot weather, with a mirage at times, made shooting erratic on the open range on Saturday afternoon, when members of the Rarigilikci Defence Rifle Club fired over 300, 500 and 600vds ranges. Pcores arc as follow: —L. Huddleston, 33 — 31—99; H. Meads, 34—32—32—98; K. \v. Dalrymple, 31—33 —33 —97; F. Simpson, 31— D. Lundy, 28—28—32—88; A. W. Anion, 29—30—25—84; R. McKenzie, 32 P. Thorby, 30—34—64; N. Anion, 25—30—55.
Rain caused the abandonment of the cricket match between Bulls and Marton Junction, which was commenced on the Domain during the week-end. Next weekend Bulls and Halcoinbc will play at Halconibe. .Messrs S. Howard and A. E. Neale, who recently underwent major operations in the Wanganui Hospital, arc reported to be progressing favourably.
