PAHIATUA.
PAHIATUA, Nov. 20. The annual meeting of the Loyal Mangatainoka Lodge, M.U., 1.0.0. F., was held last night, Bro. S. G. Matthews, N.G., presiding. The appointment of officers for the ensuing term resulted as follows: —N.G., Bro. li. Pryde; V.G., Bro. H. Gardner; E.S., Sister Z. Levy; L.M., P.G. Bro. S. J. Matthews. These officers were installed by the retiring L.M. and were accorded Lodge honours. Each suitably returned thanks. P.G. Bro. A. E. South was elected auditor, and P.G.’s Bros. South and S. J. Matthews _ were re-appointed delegates to the friendly societies’ picnic committee. A social committee of five members was also elected. The retiring 1.P.N.G., Bro. W. T. Ridley, was nominated as a candidate for the Purple Degree. It was decided that he be presented with an emblem and that his name be inscribed on the merit board.
