DOMINION ATHLETES

MEETING OF DELEGATES: Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 20. Good progress in every branch of the snort- was reported at the annual nieetino- of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association to-niglit. Mr H. I. Austad (Canterbury) expressed satisfaction that the funds of the association had appreciated since 1928 to the extent of £3OO. The association, he thought, might he able to help the centres by taking a little less from them when athletic teams visit the Dominion in the future. Mr A. C. Kitto (Wellington) also referred to the flourishing condition of finances and said he thought the time had arrived when an efficient coach might be secured from overseas. Referring to amateurism the president (Mr R. W.
