ORDER FOR ARREST

BANNED NEW ZEALANDER. SEARCH FOR GRIFFIN. A DIFFICULT TASK. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received November 20, 10.25 a.m. MELBOURNE, Nov. 20. The Attorney-General (Mr Menzies) stated that orders have been given to the chief of the Commonwealth Investigation Branch (Lieut.-Colonel H. E. Jones) to find Gerald Griffin if he is in Australia and' arrest him immediately. Efforts of the officers of the Investigation Branch have been considerably hampered by lack of means of identifying Griffin. The Federal authorities have cabled the Wellington police asking definitely for news of the whereabouts of Griffin. Although several leaders at the Kisch protest meeting in the Melbourne Stadium on Sunday night declared that Griffin appeared in person, it is stated in official circles that the banned New Zealander was impersonated. It is pointed out that the man who addressed the meeting was consderably younger than Griffin.
