An interesting ; report of the Brown.e pack s activities and ' its finances was presented by Miss M. 5 Boyd showing how well the work is being j carried on. These were both adopted. ! It was decided to record special thanks to ■ Misses Horrax and Boyd for their help 1 and interest. The following officers were I elected: President, Airs H. Paterson; vice-presidents, Mesdames J. D. Wilson, I A Nelson, F. M- Gregorie, Miss Mc- ! Kenny, Matron G. Berry and Rev. Bum. chi- executive committee, Mesdames \\. Barret, It. C. Austin, W. II Purdie W. , Harrison, S. T. Tinney, \V. I- Boyd, k. I L. Warren, E. E. Etz and D. G. Gregorie. Airs Butcher, of Eketahuna, is progressing very well after an operation in ! a private hospital. Miss Josephine Ruther- ' ford, Alakuri, and Aliss I. Beetham, Perry Street, Alasterton, are staying with Mrs C A Cameron, Flat Point. Mrs CoJqunoun'of Alakairo, is a patient at a .Pahia. tua ’private hospital whore she is pro--1 o-ressing favourably after a recent operation. Aliss Eileen Dick, of Ngatun who underwent an recently* ib still m a fairly serious condition.
