CALF CLUBS
FURTHER JUDGING RESULTS. Judging was continued yesterday of the groups in the Manawatu-Oroua Calf Club competitions, the schools judged being Apiti, Kimbolton, Kiwitea and Cheltenham. The judge was Mr J. H. Mason, of Feilding, who was accompanied by Air A. Kidd, group supervisor, and Mr E. H. Lange, agricultural instructor. Tbe following are the awards : APITI. Dairy type.—Melva Prince 1, Pearl Prince 2, Ray Prince 3, Wilfred Wildbore 4, Victor Wildbore 5. Care and Attention.—Ray Prince 1, Victor Wildbore 2, Melba Prince 3, Pearl Prince 4, Raymond Bensemann 5. Nine calves were entered at this school. KIMBOLTON. Dairy type. —Ken Martin 1, Thomas Forman 2. Care and attention. —Ken Martin 1, Thomas Forman 2. The above were the only entries brought forward. KIWITEA. Dairy type.—Harold Nash’s Heatlierbell 1, Gordon Craine’s Tinkerbell 2, Perry Taylor’s Dina 3, Wilfred Lodge’s Spot 4, Joseph Anderson’s Melba 5. Care and attention. —Harold Nash 1, Gordon Craine 2, Perry Taylor 3, Joseph Anderson 4, Wilfred Lodge 5. Eight calves were exhibited. CHELTENHAM.

A special class for yearlings, judged on type, was also held, the results being as follow: —George Haics Nattie 1, Eric Mill’s FeJicie 2.
