CITY COUNCIL’S DECISIONS. On the recommendation of the transit committee, the Palmerston North City Council, last evening, made the following decisions as to the control of traffic in the city on Christmas and New Year’s Eves and December 22 (Saturday):—That one-way traffic only lie allowed between the white line to be drawn down the centre of the roadway in the Square and garden enclosures; that no parking will be allowed in front of the shops.in the Square; that parking for 30 minutes only be allowed on tiie stands already appointed on the garden side of the Square, and on the stand now used by general carriers, and ill front of the Soldiers’ Memorial; that extra permanent parking be allowed on both sides of King Street and Taonui Street.
