THURSDAY’S RACE.
In response to the representations of Palmerston North and outside riders, the Feilding Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club has altered the starting time of Thursday’s road race to 6.30 p.m. in order to allow competitors from other centres to reach Feilding in time to start. The event is the last run before tbe cup race in the following week, and the course, which is to Cheltenham and back, although easier than the Cinder Hill circuit over which the cup will be contested, is of an approximately similar distance and will afford riders useful preparation.
