THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. A suburban grocer tells an amusing story of one of his juvenile customers. This little lady toddled into his store one morning and, reaching up, placed a penny on the counter. “A penny worth of Baxter’s Lung Preserver, please.” “Oh! But you can only buy it in bottles,” he explained. “But I only have a little cold, and a penny worth will fix it,” the customer reasoned.
