HARBOUR BOARD SALARIES.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Nov. 13. An increase of 5 per cent, in all salaries as from October 1, and a discontinuance of rationing have been decided upon by the Auckland Harbour Board. An announcement to this effect was made by the chairman (Mr T. B. Clay) following a discussion ot the estimates by the board in committed. The increase in salaries will moan an additional expenditure ■ ot about £2OOO a year.
