SUPREME COURT.

SENTENCES AT NEW PLYMOUTH. Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 14. In the Supreme Court to-day, Mr Justice Smith. sentenced the following prisoners: Neil Macfadgen, for indecent assault, seven years' detention ; Harry Brunsden, theft from a dwelling nine months’ hard labour; George Edward Boyle, cattle stealing, six months’ hard labour; Richard Albert Dailey, forgery and uttering, three years’ probation and to pay the costs of the prosecution; Harvey Ernest Taylor, a serious offence, twelve months’ probation and to pay the costs of the prosecution.
